Block Paving

Although there are only three basic block laying patterns: Stretcher Bound; Herringbone and Basket Weave, the random or uniform use of different block sizes within these patterns open up the design options. Their creative use can form patterns which can achieve different effects, each one unique to its own setting. We are happy to discuss with you and advise you on theses options.

Tarmac

NJS offer a range of services using a combination of the latest machine technology and traditional hand laying techniques. Specialists in domestic driveways, NJS also have the capacity to construct new roads, car parks, or even tennis courts from scratch, and can offer a variety of surfaces to suit every requirement. From durable heavy duty Tarmac and asphalt able to withstand heavy traffic usage, to the more decorative smooth and coloured Tarmac finishes associated with the domestic driveway, patio or path.

Fencing

All types of fencing can be supplied and erected, closeboard, larch lap panels, palisade, trellis, stock fencing, chain link, steel palisade, deer fencing and post & rail. Domestic and commercial enquiries both very welcome, from small gardens, building sites to equestrian establishments.

Turfing

NJS carry out turfing works to both domestic and commercial properties. There are a number of different grades of turf available depending on your needs and requirements.

Decking

Timber decking has become one of the most popular additions to a garden in recent years. It is used as a natural alternative to a patio and offers an attractive outdoor living area. It can be used to level an uneven area and can be used where other types of landscaping might not be physically or economically viable.

Decking boards come in a variety of styles in either soft or hard wood. The most common by far are the standard deck boards such as the AVS deck board, the Winchester deck board and the KDM decking board. They can be either light or dark in colour, but can be stained in almost any colour you choose.

Our schedule of work is clearly set out with no hidden extras, so the price you are quoted will cover the total cost of the job. We will also give you an estimate of how long the work will take to complete. If you decide to go ahead, we will liaise closely with you at all stages of the process to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the end product.

All work is guaranteed and we use only quality stone, primarily from suppliers Brett and Marshalls though we can also source products from other suppliers if necessary.

Smooth finished coloured tarmac creates a modern looking and practical drive surface, ideal to meet the requirements of this Worcestershire home. Block paving sets were laid at intervals to create a strong and decorative look. Although the coloured Tarmac used is called ‘red Tarmac’, many variations are available. Driveways can be enhanced further by a colour that appears almost purple.
